Some updates. First of all, this information is in my newsletter which you can get, if you don’t already, by going to the contact page and sending me your email address. I don’t send it out often, only when I have a show or a new project to show (and they do take time). You can drop off the list at your own choosing.
If anyone has previously tried to use my Contact Me page, they may have found some difficulty. Well, actually they would definitely have had difficulty because it hasn’t worked since this site was first established. My humble apologies. But it has been worked on and tested, and I now WILL get the mail.
But the main news has to do with the fore mentioned shows, Three pieces, Prince’s Star, Encouragement and Cornering the Gold Market are in the Round Rock Fall exhibit, located at Texas State University Round Rock Campus, 1555 University Blvd., Round Rock, TX, till November 18th, 2016. Level 13 is at the Georgetown Art Hop. my first state wide show, located at the Georgetown Art Center and the Georgetown Public Library (my piece is in the Library). This exhibit will be up through October 29, 2016.
In 2017 I have been invited into two larger shows each taking eight to ten pieces, the first in January will be displayed at the JCC Austin, 7300 Hart Lane, Austin, TX, this Exhibit will be open from January 23 through February 27th, 2017.
But I am very proud to be invited to return to the Old Bakery and Emporium (the link displays the 2016 show) located at 1006 Congress Ave. Austin, TX, in April of 2017. The exhibit will go through the month.
For those into social media, I am also pleased to announce that I am now on Instagram.
With encouragement from family and friends, I have opened an Instagram account under ThreadUponThreads.
So I now have Instagram, my Facebook page, and my Website here. I feel such the social media Dweeb.
